Angela D'Entremont

Angela has been practicing yoga for over 15 years after an invitation to an outdoor yoga class led to her love of the practice. After being initially drawn to the physical benefits of yoga, strength and flexibility, it was the invitation to stillness and breath awareness that made her feel at home and at peace on her mat.

Angela is a Guidance Counsellor, an experienced educator and a mindfulness teacher. She is a certified yoga instructor (200hr) and feels honored to have trained with Breathing Space founder Jenny Kierstead through the Yoga in Schools Teacher Training Program. It is through Angela’s work with her students that she has become a true believer in the healing aspects of yoga and mindfulness practices.

Her approach to teaching is rooted in authenticity and compassion as she strives to make her classes a welcoming, supportive community space.  It is her hope that you will develop strength of mind and body, and an inner awareness as you focus your attention on your breath and your body’s abilities in the present moment (and maybe have a little fun in the process).

Angela is passionate about the importance of nature connectivity and is most at peace hiking in the woods, kayaking on the river or sitting around a campfire at her cottage with family and friends.
