Join us for this uniquely supportive and accessible yoga practice from a chair. Improve flexibility, balance, strength, feelings of contentment and peace while connecting within our fun yoga community.
Everyone welcome. Ideal for seniors, people with mobility issues, or anyone interested to learn poses using a chair!
Class begins with breathing exercises and meditation and continue with a total body warm-up with your chair, seated poses, standing poses and a cool-down including a final relaxation. At times we will also use weights or toning balls and incorporate fascial mobility work as well as hand dexterity using yoga mudras. Breathing exercises and other mindfulness techniques will promote relaxation, healing and resiliency.
6 Weeks program Mondays 3 to 4pm starts 8 April till 13 May. Available in Studio and Online.
